Notable Changes

  • Updated the equalisation of most BRIRs in the dataset. A new room target curve has been applied with reduced treble roll-off. Inverse filter 'Room_Target_Inverse' has been updated accordingly for removal of the (updated) room target curve if required.
  • Added a set of reduced reverberation BRIRs for room R11_P2 (Small_Broadcast_Studio_Pos_2_400ms).
  • Latest low frequency BRIRs were integrated into rooms R07_P1, R07_P2 (Conference_Room) & R35 (Small_Room_E) resulting in reduced low frequency reverberation. Resulting low frequency response is now more consistent with similar sized rooms.
  • Updated R05B_400ms BRIRs: modified source speaker position for a selection of azimuths (-25 deg to -90 deg) resulting in an improved and more symmetrical stereo image.
  • Updated E-APO configurations.

  • Added a set of alternative BRIRs for room R22_P2 (Large_Room_Pos_2) with reduced reverberation (RT60 = 400ms).
  • Added filter HpCFs\Additional_Filters\Room_Target_Inverse.wav which can be used to remove the smooth downward slope that was applied to the rooms.
  • Updated most BRIRs with improvements to low frequency equalisation and reductions in low frequency reverberation.
  • Added additional azimuths (-35,-40,35,40 degrees) for rooms R05B, R06P2 and R07.
  • Replaced the room R17 (Room_HU201) BRIRs with their reduced reverberation alternative BRIRs, leaving a single set of BRIRs for R17.
